The Madeira Wine Festival, which runs from August 25th to September 11th, is one of the island’s most popular tourist attractions, paying homage to this exquisite nectar and its unquestionable socioeconomic importance.
This festival, which takes place during the grape harvest in late August and early September, strives to revive Madeira’s hioric traditions, which have been formed over centuries of viticulture labor.
Since the late 1970s of the previous century, this incident has been honored. It kicks out in Funchal with the European Folklore Week, as well as ornamentations, exhibitions, and live portraits reflecting the wine culture, as well as traditional and light music performances.
The Wine Harvest Festival takes place at Estreito de Câmara de Lobos towards the end of the festival.
